If you are having any doubts about purchasing a new car from this garage, please DON’T! One of the best customer experiences of my life. I was an absolute nightmare customer for poor Ryan, but he went above and beyond for almost two weeks until my new car was delivered to me!

Absolute 10 out of 10 for customer service, as a woman alone buying a car I was already stressed and on my guard, but Ryan persevered almost daily with me until I was 100% happy and reassured. We had a few hiccups along the way, nothing was too much trouble and any concerns promptly addressed and resolved. Never once had an attitude problem, never once made me feel pressured, never not returned calls, and the car was even better than I expected.

I’ve contacted them a few times since taking my new car home, again never turned away or ignored and any help I needed was promptly given if not within the hour.

I recently went to view a Ford Galaxy at TransAuto, and I have to say their customer service was excellent from the very beginning. My husband couldn’t come with me that day, and as this was our first automatic car, I was a little nervous. When I asked for a test drive, they kindly offered to drive first so I could get a feel for it before taking over myself. That small gesture made a big difference and really helped build my confidence.

The car itself was almost immaculate, with only a couple of tiny details that needed attention, which they immediately agreed to sort. After going home and speaking with my husband, we also learned that the wet belt would soon be due for replacement. Although Ford originally recommended a 10-year interval, this was later changed to 6 years, and this particular car was right at that point. When I mentioned this to TransAuto, they agreed without hesitation to have it replaced before purchase.

I know this is neither a quick nor simple job, and parts had to be ordered from Europe, so it took around two weeks but we were away on holiday, so the timing worked out fine. When the car was ready, we drove 40 minutes after work (through awful traffic!) to collect it just before closing, excited to finally bring it home.

Unfortunately, only about three miles from home, the car went into limp mode and then lost all power, lighting up the dashboard with fault warnings. As TransAuto had closed for the evening, we called the AA, were recovered home, and contacted the dealership first thing the next morning.

To their credit, they arranged to collect the car straight away. Although the fault codes had cleared by the time they arrived, they still took it back for a full inspection. They even brought in a specialist to diagnose the issue. After about two weeks, the problem was found and repaired or so it seemed. When they received the car back, it became clear something still wasn’t right. They were honest with me, kept communication open, and reassured me they wouldn’t return the car until they were 100% confident it was fixed.

I bought the car in mid-August, collected it on the 4th of September, returned it on the 5th, and finally had it back on the 20th of November. While this was a much longer process than expected, I genuinely cannot fault their customer service.

Sometimes it really is just bad luck cars can be unpredictable no matter how careful you are. What matters most is how a dealership responds when things go wrong, and TransAuto handled everything professionally, promptly, and with complete transparency. They always kept me updated, answered every question, and treated the situation seriously from start to finish.

I genuinely appreciate their commitment to getting everything right and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their customer service.
